Gain an Advantage & Distinguish Yourself by learning how to forumlate comedy like the best

Knowledge = Power

Learning these elite comedy writing skills are applicable in business and in life

Smiles Don't Lie!

Learning how to write funnier has the potential to take your career, business, and creativity to the next level.

While everyone else is snoozing, writing the same generic emails, headlines, social media, blog posts, and jokes you are investing in yourself.

Writing funnier allows you to stand out. To build a better connection with the people you are looking to reach in a fun and engaging way. To make them smile and laugh and look forward to hearing from you again.

What you are about to learn is something that only a handful of people in the world know. These tips, principles, and ways of writing funnier come straight from teachings at Second City, one of the Co-Founders of The Onion, and the top comedy professionals on earth.

It would cost over $2,000 and years of training to learn this material otherwise. How do I know? Because that's the amount of time and money I put into acquiring this knowledge.

This self-led course is for you if:

  • You want to become a funnier writer who people look forward to hearing from.

  • You want to write emails, blog posts, stories, social media, and headlines that stand out, allowing you to differentiate yourself from others and in the process become more successful.

  • You want to learn the formula for writing higher quality, funnier jokes, more easily.

  • You want to have more fun (yes, writing funnier will add more fun to your life!)

  • You want to learn something that very few people in the world know, straight from the best comedy sources on the planet, that has the ability to completely change the way you think and write.

The Backstory:

Over 4 years ago I quit my full-time job to live my dream and create a sports comedy website (Bacon Sports.) My goal was to turn it into the awesomest sports media company ever.

To differentiate myself from all other creators, writers, and bloggers I thought it would be a good idea to add a new tool to my content creator toolbelt: professional comedy.

It just so happens that I lived down the street from the best comedy training center in the world, Second City. It's the same place that produced Tina Fey, Steve Carell, Stephen Colbert, Keegan-Michael Key, Mike Myers, Bill Murray, and Chris Farley. Nice company, huh?

I figured if I could learn the comedy fundamentals that helped launch these celebrities into superstardom that I'd give myself a huge advantage over everyone else in business, marketing, blogging, social media, and content creation.

Four years and $1000's of dollars later and here we are.

I have a wealth of comedy writing knowledge that I acquired through taking classes such as Humor Writing For The Internet and Writing With The Onion, which was taught by one of the Co-Founders of The Onion, that I want to share with you.

I am one of a handful of people in America who took all four Writing With The Onion classes. Why is this important? Because The Onion is the pinnacle of comedy writing excellence. Knowing the formula and principles for how they construct jokes will take you from an amateur to a professional in no time.

I realize that not everyone lives in Chicago nor do they have the money to spend on professional comedy training. That's why I created a course that condenses the highest level comedy principles I learned over those 4 years into 10 easily digestible lessons.

Who made this awesome course?

Rob Cressy is best known as the founder and editor-in-chief of BaconSports.com, a sports comedy website that fuses together sports with pop culture and a love of jerseys. He is also the founder of Cress Media, a digital media shop that creates fun & engaging content and marketing.

Rob has studied improv and comedy writing at Second City in Chicago for the last 4 years, currently hosts three podcasts, and is crushing it on Snapchat

Over the last 4 years he's created over 1900 articles, 250 videos, and 175 podcasts, leaving a trail of smiles in his wake. Rob has fun in everything he does and this course is no exception.
